Weight Watchers will remain silent about the validity of reports their new celebrity spokeswoman Jessica Simpson is pregnant again. The company released a statement Wednesday saying questions about Simpson, who recently revealed a 70 lb. weight loss, should be directed to her reps.
"Any questions related to Jessica's personal life can only be answered by her team," said Weight Watchers public relations manager Stephanie Schulman. "We do not disclose financial details about our relationships with any of our ambassadors."
Rumors about Simpson, 32, being pregnant with her second child come just 7 months after the birth of her daughter Maxwell. A Simpson family insider told the National Enquirer that the Fashion Star mentor is currently about 9 weeks into her pregnancy. “She’s trying to keep it a secret until she makes it safely through her first trimester,” the source claimed.
A second insider told Us Weekly magazine that the pregnancy came as a shock to Simpson and her fiancé, former NFL player Eric Johnson. "It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again," said the insider.
Simpson has not commented. She and Johnson began dating in May 2010. They announced their engagement 6 months later.
