A baby and a wedding are in Jessica Simpson’s near future! RadarOnline.com reports Simpson plans to wed fiancé Eric Johnson soon despite recent complications that include her surprise pregnancy, her father’s boyfriend scandal and a friend’s wedding. A source says the Fashion Star mentor wanted to wed sometime in December, but is now pushing the date to next year because her close friend Cacee Cobb planned a December wedding.
“Jessica wanted to get married before Christmas and was thinking of a date in December. But then Cacee set a date with Donald (Faison) for December, her father was caught up in the gay scandal and then she found out she was pregnant. Her plans were derailed and the wedding became a secondary detail with everything that was going on in her life,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.
The source says Simpson, who is said to be 9 weeks pregnant with her second child, doesn’t mind walking down the aisle with a baby bump. “Jessica isn’t concerned about her baby bump showing in the wedding pictures and feels she has put off her nuptials for far too long,” the source adds. “Date-wise, she’s thinking before next summer, possibly February or March.”
Simpson has not commented. The pregnancy rumors come just 7 months after she welcomed daughter Maxwell with Johnson.
