Following in the recent steps of Ethyrea's legendary co-directors, Vic and Andy Armstrong, the latest announcement out of the Ethyrea camp is the addition of award winning, world-renowned concept and visual artist Randy Gaul. Joining Producers Danica Fontaine, Billy Badalato, Kathy Krantz Stewart, Lou Rawls Jr, and Executive Producer Edward Jarzobski, the former employee of ILM, Digital Domains, Disney Toons, Disney Imagineering, and more, owns a resume that looks like a veritable "who's who" of filmmaking at it's finest. "I'm confident that we certainly have one of the finest teams assembled in Hollywood history. Everyone on this team is a brilliant mind, a seasoned veteran, or a hungry new talent with big shoes to fill and the drive to get to the top. I'm just looking forward to getting this group of filmmakers actually working together. I think it's going to be a tremendous experience for everyone," says Creator and Producer Danica Fontaine. Randy will be cherry picking his team from his past experiences on films such as: Madagascar 3, Rio, Beowulf, Gangs of New York, Signs, and most recently, Mirror Mirror, as he works closely with the already partnered award-winning companies and outstanding crew lining up to work on the new Independent fantasy feature, "Ethyrea: Code of the Brethren."
"Randy and his team are just a great group of guys!" says Visual Effects Producer and Partner on the Ethyrea Film, and President of Sandman Studios, Stephen Sobisky. "They will make a fantastic addition to the team! I'm really looking forward to working with them all!" Partnered with Danica Fontaine for nearly two years now, Stephen Sobisky and the team at Sandman Studios have been along for the ride from the beginning and have watched and worked side by side with Danica and her team as the project has grown to include: DQ Entertainment, the "2012 International Animation Studio of the Year Award winner"; the Armstrong Brothers as the Directors; Producers Billy Badalato, Lou Rawls Jr. and Danica Fontaine; Casting Director Robyn Owen; Ytinifni Pictures and Sales; Dawna Lee Heising, Host and Executive Producer of Eye on Entertainment TV, as well as host of MoreHorror.com; recent Lifetime Achievement Award winner Cylk Cozart; and even preliminary cast members, including: Kathy Krantz Stewart and world renowned five time WWF Mr. World and two time WWF Mr. Universe, Mike Mitchell; as well as some of the cream of the crop of the stunt and action world. Now, mixed with some of the Bay Area's seasoned talent and, rumor has it, potentially even a Bay Area Creature and Mechanics specialty group, Ethyrea stands upon the brink of beginning their Initial Offerings and preparing to move into Casting and Pre-production.
"I'm just excited for the journey and thrilled for the opportunity to pick and choose from the very best in the business for this serious challenge of animation and live action genius. I'm hopeful to bring on some of the super-talented Bay area personalities for the challenge of this film, and with the crew shaping up the way it is so far, I really just can't wait to hear who Danica has in talks for the role of Production Designer," says Gaul. For now, the Ethyrea camp isn’t letting that information or any of their targeted celebrities slip at all. Information is coming in at a controlled pace, and there are plenty more people in the future that will be announced before Development and Pre-Production collide into a reality that is quickly looking like it could live up to the seven hundred million dollar projections that were made before the Armstrong boys signed on. With Vic and Andy at the helm, this production is certainly starting to turn heads - and quickly. For more information, please visit: http://www.ethyreafilm.com
