Before entering drug rehab Dean Kealoha spent most of his life addicted to drugs. At 9 years old he started experimenting, which soon led to addiction and brought on more problems in life than most people could dream of dealing with. At 40 years old, Dean had already spent most of his life as a full-blown drug addict and had done time in prison as a result of his substance abuse issues.
There was one thing, however that helped Dean pull through; his family. “Family was the most important thing to me,” he explains. “My mother offered me an ultimatum and I decided to go to Narconon. I felt skeptical at the time, but relieved.”
Dean enrolled in the Narconon drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and throughout the program he started seeing many positive changes in himself. There was one part of the program in particular that raises the ability of the individual to control his own environment that Dean mentions he had the greatest achievement with while undergoing treatment. He was able to unstick himself from the past and look forward to the future without drugs in his life for the first time in three decades.
