Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza made it official over the weekend – the longtime couple said ‘I do’ Saturday in a sunset ceremony in Mexico. Lopez popped the question with a 5 carat diamond ring while they vacationed in Ixtapa last January.
The outdoor wedding was held at the Punta Mita vacation home of Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild. A Catholic priest officiated. The wedding party included the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Gia and Lopez’s close friend Eva Longoria. About 150 guests enjoyed a mariachi band and wedding cake by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro at the reception.
TLC will air the wedding in a 2 hour special titled Mario & Courtney's Wedding Fiesta on December 8.
Lopez and Mazza were not the only celebrity couple to tie the knot over the weekend. Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum also exchanged vows on Saturday.
"Today is all about our friends and family. It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love,” Hebert told People magazine.
