Allen’s Flowers and Plants, widely regarded as San Diego’s best flower shop and in the top 100 flower shops in the entire nation, is promoting time-honored traditions this holiday season, including the La Jolla Christmas Parade with this year’s theme of “Christmas in the Village.”
The La Jolla Christmas Parade and Festival was held on Sunday, December 2, 2012. It is a festive San Diego tradition that has been bringing families in the community together for years. This is the 55th year that the parade and festival have been hosted. The parade started at 2:00pm at Girard Avenue and the festival started at 3:30pm, going on until 5:00pm. There were arts and crafts for people of all ages, food and entertainment, and, of course, Santa Claus.
