Former Malcolm in the Middle child star Frankie Muniz is recovering from a mini-stroke. TMZ reports the 26-year-old actor and Kingsfoil drummer was rushed to an Arizona hospital last Friday after his friends noticed he had trouble talking and understanding words.
It was determined Muniz was suffering from a “mini-stroke,” but it remains unclear what caused the stroke. Tests results are pending. The health scare will force Muniz to miss out on the launch of Kingfoil’s tour this Friday.
“I was in the hospital last Friday,” Muniz recently tweeted. “I suffered a "Mini Stroke", which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”
Muniz is perhaps best known for playing Malcolm on Malcolm in the Middle from 2000 to 2006. He put his acting career on hold in 2008 to concentrate on open wheel racing. Muniz most recently made guest appearances on Last Man Standing and Don’t Trust the ---- in Apartment 23.
