Ethyrea Films, LLC has announced today that award winning Visual Effects expert and supervisor Stephen Sobisky has signed on for the position of Visual Effects Supervisor for the new Blockbuster fantasy and family friendly feature film, “Ethyrea: Code of the Brethren.” “His talents and abilities are shown clearly in the magnificence of the work he has done!” says Creator and Producer Danica Fontaine. “We know that the visual effects and animation in this film are extreme and Stephen has shown that he can lead our visual effects department and make our film as stunning on the screen as it was in my mind when I created it.”
Stephen Sobisky has a lifetime of achievement in various visual effects, 3D modeling and interactive multimedia production management positions in the entertainment and high tech industries. He has extensive experience in managing multi-million dollar projects and large creative teams in award winning CG entertainment including feature film, broadcast, commercial, multimedia, animation, and game projects. While at DreamWorks, he led a team of artists for five years on the award winning animation feature Shrek and was modeling producer for Antz. “Stephen has more than vision. He has the ability motivate and inspire artists to take his vision and translate it to the screen,” said Lee Baker, his business partner at Sandman Studios.
He is the founder of Sandman Studios, a visual effects company which has worked extensively on film and television projects, including: Race to Witch Mountain, Pushing Daisies, Grimm, Saving Grace, Raising Hope, Gifted Man, Trauma and many more. Sobisky is also an owner of Paralight Films, which is currently producing the fantasy feature film Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys starring Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, as well as Speed of Light, Beau and the Beanstalk, Humbug, A Christmas Carol and The Dome.
