Jermaine O’Neal had 22 points and 10 rebounds while Darrell Armstrong finished with 16 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds as the Indiana Pacers (21-20) beat the Chicago Bulls (23-19) 98-91. Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy combined to grab 15 rebounds for the Pacers. Ben Gordon led the Bulls with 31 points.
The Toronto Raptors (20-22) used a 21-8 third quarter to beat the Charlotte Bobcats (14-26) 105-84. Chris Bosh had 20 points while Jose Calderon finished with 19 points and 11 assists for the Raptors. Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 19 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
The San Antonio Spurs (30-13) were up by 14 points going into the fourth quarter and coasted to a 93-89 victory over the Boston Celtics (12-28). Tim Duncan finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Manu Ginobili added 15 points and 6 rebounds for the Spurs. Al Jefferson had 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Celtics.
Starting out the game on a 29-3 run, the Miami Heat (19-22) cruised past the New York Knicks (18-25) 101-83. The Heat were up 40-12 after the first quarter and had six players score in double figures. Udonis Haslem had 19 points and 10 rebounds while Gary Payton stepped in for Dwyane Wade to add 10 points and 13 assists in the Heat win. Eddy Curry had 16 points for the Knicks.
Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points in his return while Allen Iverson added 23 points and 7 assists and Marcus Camby had 17 points to go with his 17 rebounds and the Denver Nuggets (21-17) beat the Memphis Grizzlies (10-32) 115-98. Pau Gasol led the Grizzlies with 23 points and 17 rebounds.
Deron Williams had 21 points and 15 assists and Carlos Boozer finished with 18 points as the Utah Jazz (28-14) beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-20) 106-91. Mehmet Okur led all Jazz players with 28 points as Utah won their fourth straight. Ricky Davis had 32 points for the Wolves as Kevin Garnett finished with 17 points and 11 boards.
Trailing by as many as 20 points and down 12 going into the fourth, the Sacramento Kings (16-23) rallied to beat the New Jersey Nets (20-21) 88-87. Ron Artest had 21 points and 7 rebounds and Mike Bibby added 16 points and 6 assists to lead the Kings. Jason Kidd recorded another triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in the loss.
Kobe Bryant had 42 points and 8 rebounds while Andrew Bynum grabbed 15 rebounds and scored 10 points as the Los Angeles Lakers (27-15) beat the Golden State Warriors (19-23) 108-103. The Warriors were ahead by five going into the fourth quarter but couldn’t hold their lead. Al Harrington led Golden State with 30 points.
