Northwest Pipe Company (NASDAQ: NWPX) has announced they received a commitment to supply pipe for the Spanish Fork Pipeline – Springville Reach project from COP Construction, LLC. The Central Utah Water Conservancy District owns the Pipeline and has hired COP Construction to furnish appx. 25,000 linear feet of 60” steel water pipe and fittings. The order is valued at appx. $12,000,000.

The pipe which is being manufactured at Northwest Pipe Company’s Adelanto California Facility will begin delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009. The Water created by the project will be used for municipal, hydroelectric power, fish, wildlife, industrial, irrigation, conservation, and recreation.
