Silver Companies Rise in Wednesday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies saw slight increases in Wednesday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies show a variety of results by noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) rose 37 cents, or 8.0 percent, to $4.99.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) rose 57 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $24.46.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) rose $1.48 or 6.7 percent, to $23.69.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) rose 40 cents, or 3.1 percent, to $13.28.
