Gunmen Kill Ten in Shooting at Drug Rehab Clinic in Mexico

At least ten people were killed and two more left injured after gunmen entered a drug rehab clinic in the Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez and opened fire.

Earlier this month 18 people were killed on a separate clinic in the city.

The shooting has been blamed on drug traffickers who believe the clinics are protecting dealers from gangs. Violence from drug gangs in Ciudad Juarez has risen dramatically as a turf war for control of the trade has left more than 1,400 dead this year.

Ciudad Juarez is situated along the U.S. border and is a major hub for drugs entering the United States. Mexico has placed thousands of extra police in the city to keep order but thy often find themselves outgunned by drug gangs.
