With Abi gone, it was time for the final four alliance of Denise, Malcolm, Scupin and Lisa to start thinking about their end game. Scupin and Lisa remain loyal to one another, but fractures appear in the longstanding Denise/Malcolm alliance. Malcolm feels it will be best to go to the end with Scupin and Lisa, so he solidifies a final three deal with them while he avoids making any commitments to Denise.
The reward challenge turns out to be very important to the game – the reward is an advantage in the final immunity challenge. For the reward challenge, the castaways must race back and forth through an obstacle course to collect puzzle pieces for a dragon puzzle. The first person to complete their puzzle wins the advantage. Lisa quickly falls behind in the obstacle course and Denise pulls ahead of Scupin and Malcolm. Denise gets off to a very good start on her puzzle, but Malcolm quickly catches up. With just a few pieces to go Denise is close to winning, but Malcolm is quicker. He wins the reward.
Back at camp, Scupin and Lisa make final 3 deals with both Malcolm and Denise. Lisa is intent in honoring their deal with Denise because she feels they won’t be able to win jury votes against Malcolm. Scupin is less sure about which move to make - he likes the idea of beating Malcolm in the end, but he realizes it is a huge risk to take.
For the immunity challenge, the castaways must hold a block in the air between two wooden pegs while balancing a ball on top of the block. Two blocks will be added every five minutes, making it harder and harder to hold. Players are out of the competition if their ball drops. Malcolm’s advantage is a second chance should his ball drop. Malcolm uses his second chance, but he doesn’t last long. He is the first person out of the challenge. Denise drops second, leaving Scupin and Lisa battling for the final immunity. Lisa drops third and Scupin wins immunity.
Scupin struggles with his final 2 decision and shares his thoughts with Denise. Denise plays it cool, but gently tries to remind him that taking Malcolm could be a $1 million mistake. In the end, Scupin and Lisa honor their final 3 deal with Denise. Malcolm is shocked that they broke their deal with him. Malcolm becomes the final member of the jury.
After a final breakfast at camp, Denise, Scupin and Lisa head to the final tribal council to face the jury. There is a lot of bitterness from Penner, Abi and Artis. Penner takes a petty swipe at Lisa for voting him out; he outs her secret past a child star on The Facts of Life.
