Blues Royalty B.B. King is Coming to Austin’s Paramount Theatre in January
Since beginning his recording career in the 1940’s, Riley B. King (affectionately dubbed B.B.) has been one of the most profoundly influential electric blues musicians in the world. Garnering accolades that range from Honorary Doctorates to 17 different Grammy distinctions, B.B. King is considered by many to be one of the most important electric guitar players of all time, spawning generations of new guitar players and creating a model for stylistic soloing that shaped the playing of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and George Harrison, among others.
B.B. and his trusted axe, ‘Lucille’, will be making their way to Austin’s Paramount Theatre on Sunday, January 13th, for a very special evening of music at one of Austin’s most legendary venues. Joined by Tameca Jones, this will be an intimate night of stellar music from one of the most respected American musicians of all time. Don’t miss it!
