Final Documentary of Steve Irwin Draws Millions to Discovery Channel and Animal Planet

“Ocean’s Deadliest,” the final documentary filmed by the “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, drew 3.2 million viewers to Discovery Channel and Animal Planet on Sunday.

Best remembered as the “Crocodile Hunter”, Irwin was killed on September 4 when a stingray’s barb pierced his heart while he was filming underwater footage for “Ocean’s Dealiest”. The Australian icon was just 44-years-old when he passed away.

Since his the death of Steve Irwin, his eight-year-old daughter, Bindi, has made several public appearances on behalf of her father’s causes. She recently made appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Show with David Letterman to promote her show “The Jungle Girl,” an extension of the life she enjoyed with her father.
