Kristen Stewart is not worried about anyone’s opinion of her affair with married director Rupert Sanders as long as it does not affect her ability to score film roles. In a new interview with Newsweek magazine, Stewart says she never intended to anger anyone when she cheated on longtime love Robert Pattinson with Sanders, her Snow White and the Huntsman director.
"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated," she says. "But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my s--t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention."
The scandal initially made her feel “closed off and self-conscious,” but now Stewart says she is “trudging forth into the world more often” in order to promote her new film On the Road.
Stewart, who is back with Pattinson, is also moving forward with another project. She is set to begin shooting Focus with Ben Affleck in April. “I’m really excited about it,” she adds.
Stewart currently stars in the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, alongside Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nicki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone.
