Kristen Stewart recently said she was excited about filming Focus with Ben Affleck, but it looks like the actress won’t get to work with Affleck after all. According to reports, Affleck has dropped out of the Warner Bros. film because of a packed schedule.
Affleck was supposed to play a veteran con artist who shows Stewart’s young character the ins and outs of the trade. His replacement has not been chosen. Glenn Ficarra and John Requa wrote the script and will direct the film.
Stewart recently told HuffPost that she was looking forward to filming Focus in April. "It's a comedy," she said. "I'm really excited about it. We start shooting in April."
Affleck, who has three children with wife Jennifer Garner, most recently starred in Argo, which he also produced and directed. His upcoming films include Runner, Runner and To The Wonder.
Stewart currently stars in the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, and will appear next in On The Road. She will also reportedly reprise her role as Snow White for Snow White and the Huntsman 2.
