West of Memphis, starring Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, Jessie Misskelley Jr., Lorri Davis and Peter Jackson, opens in theaters Tuesday, December 25. The documentary explores the fight to establish the innocence of the West Memphis Three. The men were teenagers when they were falsely convicted of the 1993 murders of three young boys in West Memphis, Arkansas. The trio was released from prison in August 2011.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours 30 minutes and is rated R for disturbing violent content and some language.
