Brandy Involved in Fatal Car Accident

On Dec. 30 R&B singer and actress Brandy was involved in a fatal car accident that left a 38-year-old married mother of one dead.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, Brandy failed to slow down while driving her 2007 Land Rover on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles and slammed into the back of a 2005 Honda driven by Awatef Aboudihaj. The Honda then hit another car before sliding sideways, striking a center divider.

Within seconds of hitting the divider, the Honda was struck by an oncoming car, leaving Aboudihaj dead.  

While no arrests have been made, the accident is under investigation. Brandy’s publicist released a statement saying “She (Brandy) wishes to publicly express her condolences to the family of the deceased.”
