Nicole Kidman was injured while filming her upcoming movie “The Invasion” late Thursday. She was taken to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center after crashing a Jaguar she was driving for a scene in the sci-fi movie.
The 39-year-old Kidman was treated and released from the hospital two-hours later.
While filming the scene, a camera rig was towing the Jaguar and when the rig took a corner to fast it skidded sending the Jaguar into a pole on West Sixth Street in LA.
Kidman won an Oscar in 2003 as Best Actress in a Leading Role for “The Hours.” Her movie credits include “Billy Bathgate” with Dustin Hoffman and Bruce Willis; “Far and Away” with Tom Cruise; “Malice” with Alec Baldwin; “To Die For” with Matt Dillon and Joaquin Phoenix; “Batman Forever” with Tommy Lee Jones, Val Kilmer, and Jim Carrey; “Panic Room” with Jodie Foster and Forest Whitaker; “Cold Mountain” with Jude Law and Renee Zellweger; and “The Interpreter” with Sean Penn.
Kidman is married to country singer Keith Urban and has two children.
