Gunman Opens Fire at Mexico City Subway Station, Two Killed

A gunman opened fire on passengers at a Mexico City subway station on Friday, killing two people and injuring five more before police were able to capture the man.

According to reports Luis Felipe Hernandez Castillo had been spray-painting graffiti at the Balderas station when he was confronted by police. Castillo, 38, then pulled a weapon and began shooting, killing and officer and a second man who attempted to tackle him.

Castillo fled to a car of the train before being surrounded police at which time he was apprehended.
