Jam-Grass Favorites Railroad Earth are Rolling through Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse for Two Nights in February

The Variety is bringing Atlanta two nights of electrified string band goodness in February from jam-scene vets Railroad Earth!

Since 2001, Railroad Earth has been making a name for themselves nationwide as road warriors with an affinity for crafting original, but beautifully familiar roots-influenced music. Covering the gamut of the Americana tradition, RRE has continually broken new ground with their original catalogue, melding danceable grooves with bluegrass and folk structure, incorporating Celtic, country, jazz, Cajun, and rock and roll influences to create a sound all their own.

Utilizing tasteful group improvisation and never repeating the same setlist, Railroad Earth has built a devout following resembling the Grateful Dead tradition of a traveling fanbase. Incorporating inspired arrangements of classic covers, RRE makes each show unique and unpredictable, with high energy from start to finish. Whether you’re a fan of improvisation, Americana, or just love a damn good show, you’ll want to check out this two night run!
