Crystal Harris is a runaway bride no more! The Playboy Playmate went through with her marriage to 86-year-old Hugh Hefner on Monday. The New Year’s Eve wedding took place inside the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. Harris, 26, wore a light pink gown while Hefner sported a black tux. The house was decorated with pink, red and white flowers.
"Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed," Harris tweeted shortly before walking down the aisle.
A reception with champagne and cake followed the wedding. The newlyweds then partied together at the Playboy Mansion’s annual New Year’s bash.
"Crystal & I married on New Year's Eve in the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!" Hefner tweeted on New Year’s Day.
"Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!" he added.
Hefner and Harris got engaged for the second time on December 1. Hefner originally popped the question with a 3 carat diamond ring in on Christmas Eve in 2010. Harris dumped the Playboy mogul in June 2011 just one week before their wedding. She later told Ryan Seacrest that she ended the relationship because she did not like Hefner’s lifestyle.
“This isn't the lifestyle for me,” Harris told Seacrest in a radio interview. "For a while, I'd been having second thoughts about everything, so I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. It was all just happening too fast for me. I just sat back and thought about it all. Is this what I wanted? And it wasn't."
Harris confirmed their on-again romance in June of this year. "Yes, Hugh Hefner and I are back together," she tweeted. "Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! XO."
