Herschel Walker Signs Multi-Fight Deal in MMA

Herschel Walker, the 1982 Heisman Trophy winner for the Georgia Bulldogs and 12-year NFL veteran, has announced that he has signed a multi-fight contract with mixed-martial arts promotion Strikeforce.

Walker, 47, will be working with trainer Bob Cook at the American Kickboxing Academy California in October. Walker holds a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Walker was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in1999.
