Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers are setting the record straight when it comes to their marriage. The newlyweds say they did not call it quits after a nasty Twitter fight over the weekend.
"For the record I never broke up with Jenelle. We took a day break with our families to enjoy time with them. I love her with all my heart,” Rogers tweeted Tuesday.
"I live [with] my husband and we are married. I'm not believing any rumors. We are happily married and everyone wants us together and [to] make this work,” added Evans.
The couple’s statements contradict tweets in which Evans declared herself “single” and Roger’s claimed he was dumped by the Teen Mom 2 star.
The fight apparently started over a phone conversation Rogers had with his ex-girlfriend Taylor and their young daughter Jordan. "Dude, he told everyone that he wanted Taylor to never ever contact him again then he waits until I'm asleep to talk to her?" Evans wrote.
"First of all, why is your daughter up at 11 p.m. anyways when you were 'talking' to her on the phone?! Haha right,” the 20-year-old added.
Rogers shot back with, "So I just got broke up with because of talking to my lil girl on the phone last night finally getting to here her tell me she loves dada! Wow."
He then tweeted to Taylor, "Jenelle said she was gonna make up charges saying I beat her and I never did so that just made me say f--k Jenelle for good.”
“I’m single,” Evans wrote less than 2 hours later.
After just three months of dating, Evans and Rogers tied the knot at a North Carolina courthouse on December 4. Evans has a 3-year-old son named Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. She was previously in an on-and-off relationship with Kieffer Delp, and was briefly engaged to Gary Head.
