The President and Chief Executive of Rockefeller & Co., James S. McDonald died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was first found in his vehicle behind a car dealership about 50 miles south of Boston. No note was left but a phone call was made to his wife previously that day. James McDonald had been president and chief executive of Rockefeller since 2001.
