College Football News: Matt Barkley and Aaron Corp Split Time at QB Spot During USC Trojans Practice

Quarterbacks Matt Barkley and Aaron Corp have been splitting practice time leading the first team offense of the USC Trojans, leaving both as potential starters for Saturday’s game against Washington State.

Barkley injured his throwing shoulder in USC’s victory over Ohio State in week two, forcing him to miss last week’s game against Washington. Corp got the start against the Huskies and the Trojans were stunned, losing 16-13 and falling from #3 in the AP Top 25 down to #12.

Head coach Pete Carroll has expressed hope that Barkley will be ready by Saturday but would start Corp if that wasn’t the case.
