Japan Airlines Corp. has plans to cut about 600 jobs at its four maintenance units by March 2012. The company will be merging their maintenance companies and cutting routes. Since 2001 Japan Air has received three bailouts from the government. Delta Airlines Inc. and Air France KLM are currently in talks to purchase a stake in Japan Air.
