Frankenweenie: starring Charlie Tahan, Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Catherine O'Hara and Martin Short. The animated comedy tells the story of a boy named Victor who uses science to bring his dog Sparky back to life. Victor’s discovery leads to unintended consequences. Rated PG
House at the End of the Street: starring Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue, Max Thieriot and Gil Bellows. The thriller centers on a girl whose relationship with her reclusive neighbor leads to her becoming involved in the dangerous mystery surrounding the murder of his parents. Rated: PG 13
Dredd: starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Wood Harris and Langley Kirkwood. The sci-fi film is set in a futuristic world were cops have the power to act as judge, jury and executioner. It follows a veteran cop and a cop trainee as they fight to eliminate a gang that deals SLO-MO, a drug that causes users to experience events at a very slow speed. Rated: R
Hit and Run: starring Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold and Kristin Chenoweth. The comedy centers on a couple whose road trip turns dangerous when they are chased by the feds and a gang of criminals. Rated: R
Samsara: written and directed by Ron Fricke. The nonverbal documentary takes viewers through sites in twenty-five countries with vivid images and beautiful music. Not Rated
Stolen: starring Nicolas Cage, Josh Lucas, Danny Huston, Malin Akerman, Sami Gayle, Edrick Browne and Mark Valley. The action film follows a former master thief who must use his skills to locate and save his daughter when she is kidnapped and held for ransom by his former partner. Rated: R
Compliance: starring Ann Dowd, Dreama Walker, Pat Healy, Bill Camp, Philip Ettinger and Ashlie Atkinson. The thriller is inspired by the true story of a fast food manager who is convinced by a prank caller to interrogate an employee over an alleged theft. Rated: R
