NEW MEXICO. (January 8, 2013). Peoples Flowers, an Albuquerque,
New Mexico-based and family owned florist, widely regarded as this city’s
largest and premier flower shop, was one of 5 flower shops across the country awarded
by The Conforti Collection to give a
customer of theirs a $1,000 cash prize!
The
Conforti Collection created a national sweepstakes for local florists. The
Collection was created to provide florists with a brand name collectible that
could be designed with their flowers during the holidays. 93 florists in all, from across the country,
purchased the 2012 Spode® Holiday Express Train, with a total of 3,000 being
produced. Peoples Flower Shops was the
exclusive dealer in Albuquerque of this year’s collectible! The florists were all given the chance to submit
a customer’s name, making them eligible to win one of the cash prizes. The Conforti Collection then awarded 5
florists a $1,000 cash giveaway, totaling $5,000, to encourage consumers to
shop locally.

and the winner of the $1,000 giveaway from Peoples goes to The Martinez

Last
year, the Conforti Collection released the first in the Spode Holiday Train
series. Because of the overwhelming success and attention it has garnered, the
Company plans to continue the sweepstake opportunities for florists
and consumers, offering the sweepstake again next Christmas when they release
the third and final train in the collection. Peoples Flowers was honored to participate
this year and looks forward to future giveaways in partnership with the
Conforti Collection.
