NBA Scores from Jan. 27; Jermaine O’Neal, Vince Carter, Dirk Nowitzki, and Ben Gordon lead their teams to wins.

Andre Iguodala scored 24 points and Samuel Dalembert finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers (14-31) beat the Atlanta Hawks (15-27) 104-89. Andre Miller added 19 points and 8 assists as the 76ers shot 54 percent from the floor. Josh Smith led the Hawks with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Jermaine O’Neal scored 21 points, handed out 6 assists, and grabbed 7 rebounds as the Indiana Pacers (23-20) beat the Toronto Raptors (22-23) 102-84. Troy Murphy added 8 points and 12 rebounds in the Pacers win. Chris Bosh led the Raptors with 26 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

Bobby Jackson scored 21 points and Desmond Mason added 20 points to lead the NO/Oklahoma City Hornets (18-25) past the Utah Jazz (29-16) 94-83. Tyson Chandler added 15 rebounds in the win. The Hornets shot 41 percent from beyond the three-point line while the Jazz struggled, shooting just 7 percent from the same distance.

Zach Randolph scored 42 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while Ime Udoka finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers (19-26) beat the Memphis Grizzlies (11-34) 135-132 in double overtime. Portland finished shooting 53 percent from three-point distance. Mike Miller led the Grizzlies with 28 points in the loss.

Dirk Nowitzki finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds to sneak the Dallas Mavericks (36-9) past the Sacramento Kings (17-25) 106-104. Jason Terry added 18 points and 7 assists for the Mavericks. Ron Artest led the Kings with 25 points and Kevin Martin added 21 points in the loss.

Ben Gordon scored 34 points while Kirk Hinrich added 26 points as the Chicago Bulls (26-19) beat the Miami Heat (19-25) 100-97. Ben Wallace grabbed 15 rebounds and Luol Deng had 14 boards in the win. Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in the loss.

Vince Carter scored 40 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dealt 6 assists as the New Jersey Nets (21-23) beat the Denver Nuggets (22-19) 112-102. Jason Kidd added 18 points and 12 rebounds and Bostjan Nachbar came off the bench to score 22 points in the win. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and Allen Iverson had 18 points and 8 assists in a losing effort.

Al Harrington scored 28 points and Baron Davis added 17 points and 10 assists to lead the Golden State Warriors (21-23) past the Charlotte Bobcats (15-28) 131-105. The Warriors shot 56 percent from the field in the blowout and forced 22 turnovers. Adam Morrison led the Bobcats with 21 points while Gerald Wallace finished with 19 points.

Kevin Garnett scored 32 points and grabbed 9 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-22) beat the Los Angeles Clippers (21-22) 101-87. Mike James added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the Timberwolves win. The Clippers turned the ball over 26 times in the loss. Elton Brand had 25 points and 12 rebounds for LA.
