Sean Lowe’s first night as The Bachelor was filled with surprises. The 28-year-old Dallas native was faced with rejecting a kiss from drunken substitute teacher in a wedding dress, fending off the advances of a 50 Shades of Grey-crazed girl, and welcoming the surprise arrival of former Bachelor contestant Kacie B.
Lowe provided a few of the surprises himself – instead of handing out just one “first impression” rose, Lowe ended up giving 12 women roses before the rose ceremony. The lucky lady to receive the first rose of the night was 24-year-old leasing consultant Tierra. Tierra was given the rose before she even entered the Bachelor mansion for the first time. "You have this sweet, exciting ... such a good energy," Lowe said of his impulsive decision.
At the end of the night, 7 women were sent packing. The 19 girls who scored roses were: Tierra, Selma, Robyn, Jackie, Leslie H., Sarah, Brooke, Catherine, Katie, Diana, Amanda, Desiree, AshLee F., Lesley M., Kacie B., Kristy, Daniella, Taryn and Lindsay.
