Alaska Airlines Start Direct Flights between Houston and Seattle

Alaska Airlines, the Subsidiary of Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK), has started direct flights between Houston and Seattle. For a one way fare Alaska Airlines is offering an introductory rate of $99 for tickets purchased by September 30, 2009. Houston is the third destination added to the carrier’s route this year. Alaska began service to Austin, Texas on August 3rd and Bellingham, Washington on June 25th. On October 23, 2009 a daily service between Seattle and Atlanta will take place.
