XO Holdings Inc. (XOHO.OB) Subsidiary Issues Guarantee to Provide “Ethernet Everywhere”

XO Communications, subsidiary of XO Holdings Inc., announced the launch of “Ethernet Everywhere”, a service availability guarantee ensuring its carrier services’ customers can obtain ethernet services anywhere within XO’s coverage area.

This service availability guarantee is the first of its kind by any nationwide service provider. President of XO Carrier Services, Ernie Ortega, said, “It’s well understood that the largest problem facing the industry with ethernet is its lack of widespread availability.” XO is attempting to solve that problem for businesses across the country.

XO’s ethernet access options range from 3Mbps up to 10Gbps and are used to support a variety of services such as private line and dedicated internet access. Offered through the end of 2009, the guarantee is available to any of the company’s carrier services customers that chooses up to 10Mbps ethernet service within one of XO’s 42 ethernet-enabled local access and transport areas (LATAs).

This program is the latest in a line of unique and industry-leading guarantees from XO Carrier Services. One guarantee issued by the company is the popular “10 Gigs in 10 Days” – the industry’s first installation guarantee promising wholesale customers installation of up to 10Gbps transport service within 10 business days. Another popular guarantee is the recently introduced Wavelength FLEX program, which gives customers the ability to respond to evolving business and network demands without incurring additional costs.
