Tomra Systems ASA (TOMRA) is a provider of advanced solutions enabling recovery and recycling of materials. The Company operates in four segments: Collection Technology, Deposit Solutions; Material Handling; Collection Technology, Non-Deposit Solutions, and Industrial Processing Technology. The Company’s principal product groups include reverse vending systems, automated material collection centers, material transport and processing, waste recognition and sorting systems for recycling, and material compaction and baling equipment. In July 2008, TOMRA sold its 51% stake in New England Glass. On July 1, 2008, TOMRA acquired the business and assets of UltraSort Group in Australia. The Group consists of UltraSort Pty Limited and Fynsort Technology Limited.
