St Ives plc operates in three market segments: Media Products, Commercial Products and the United States. The Media Products segment comprises, in the United Kingdom the production of books and magazines, and in the Netherlands printing for the multimedia industries. The Commercial Products segment includes direct response and commercial printing, multimedia printing and packaging for the United Kingdom market, point-of-sale for retailers and brands and advertising materials for exhibitions and events. The Commercial Products business principally operates from six units across the United Kingdom and offers a range of commercial printing products and direct mail personalization services focusing specifically on the financial, advertising and retail sectors of the market. The United States segment comprises mainly controlled circulation magazines, general commercial printing and the supply of point-of-sale materials to retailers and franchisees.
