Stabbing at John Tyler High School Leaves 1 Dead

A stabbing at John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas left 1 teacher dead and a student in police custody. According to reports, 50-year-old music teacher Todd Henry was stabbed to death by an unidentified student Wednesday in a classroom.

After the attack, the high school was put on lock down. Students were later sent home early. The motive behind the stabbing and the identity of the student responsible has not been released. No other details were available.

Tyler is about 90 miles southwest of Dallas.
