Ford Hybrid Gas Mileage Claims Available to Be Reviewed by Attorneys

The attorneys working with ClassAction.org are available to review claims on behalf of consumers who purchased or leased a 2013 Ford C-Max or Fusion hybrid car and suspect the vehicles are not living up to their advertised mile-per-gallon estimates. It has been alleged that the automaker’s marketing campaign misled consumers about the fuel economy capabilities of the vehicles. If you purchased or leased either vehicle, you may have legal recourse to collect financial compensation in light of these claims. To find out if you are eligible, please visit http://www.classaction.org/ford-gas-mileage.html for a free consultation.

Ford has reportedly claimed that its Fusion Hybrid and C-Max Hybrid achieved a class-leading “47 city/47 highway/47 combined mpg.” Real-world tests ran by ConsumerReports.org, however, yielded results which were far below the company’s ambitious mpg figures. The publication found that the C-Max Hybrid delivered an overall mpg of 37, while the Fusion achieved a 39 mpg overall; this was the largest discrepancy the publication has seen among current models when comparing their results and the estimates published by the EPA, Consumer Reports stated. Both vehicles achieved a 35 mpg in city conditions, with the Fusion and C-Max delivering a 41 and 38 mpg in highway conditions, respectively, according to the tests.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Ford Motor Co. for “false and misleading” marketing. According to the suit, these materials helped the automaker outsell its rival hybrid sales leader Toyota; however, due to the inaccurate sticker representations, hundreds of thousands of consumers suffered financial damage when purchasing or leasing the cars based on false and misleading fuel economy claims, the suit alleges. To learn more about the lawsuit, please visit ClassAction.org. The attorneys working with the site are offering a free, no obligation case review to consumers who purchased or leased a 2013 Ford Fusion or C-Max Hybrid vehicle.
