My Weird Story Now Collecting Stories Of Kindness

Myweirdstory.com, a site dedicated to collecting weird stories submitted by users from around the globe has recently added a new section titled “Time is Love”. In addition to supplying readers with interesting stories and weird quotes, the new category hopes to offer users and readers a place to share their stories of kindness, inspiration, and examples of outstanding individuals making time to love others.

The concept was originally conceived by site owner Vladimir Gendelman while he was out to eat with his family. Looking around, he noticed that an overwhelming number of people were missing out on quality time with friends and loved ones by paying more attention to everyday distractions than the people they were with. He saw couples and families glued to their cell phones, laptops, and generally missing quality time.

“Time is love is about putting down the cell phone, leaving the laptop at home, and spending time with others. We are so easily distracted by everyday concerns and technology, that we tend to miss what’s going on around us,” said Gendelman.

Myweirdstory.com hopes to highlight goodness in the human race and inspire people to embrace the idea of putting others ahead of themselves. During these tough emotional times, time is not a luxury many people have a surplus of. The site hopes to inspire readers and give them ideas on how they can still find time to connect with friends and family, as well as help others.

“Life can get in the way of love and doing good things for others. We hope to show people that it is possible to take care of yourself and others every day. The smallest contribution can make all of the difference and create a better society for us all,” said Gendelman.

Home to the largest collection of weird stories on the web, Myweirdstory.com has recently expanded to cover the lighter side of humanity. As part of a shift to highlight the best in human kind, Gendelman encourages anybody who has performed a good deed, big or small to visit the site and share their story with readers from all around the world.

“We are looking to capture the best in humanity. Our hope is that enough people read and are inspired, that we can al work together to improve the world around us,” said Gendelman.
