Evergreen Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: ESLR) said Thursday that Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales Terry Bailey will be leaving later this month, according to Associated Press.

Bailey is leaving the solar company to become CEO of a California solar company.
Evergreen said Chairman, President and CEO Richard Feldt will handle the marketing and sales responsibilities on an interim basis after Bailey's departure. Chief Financial Officer Michael El-Hillow will assume the responsibilities for global operations and administration in addition to his other duties.
Evergreen develops, makes and markets solar power products using proprietary silicon wafer technology.
The company's stock shed 7 cents, or 3.5 percent, to $1.91 in morning trading. Over the past year, the shares have traded in a range of $1 to $6.58.
