One week before the second Inauguration of America's 44th President, Barack Obama, the 2013 Inaugural Obama Watch has gone on sale with a limited production run of 5,000 watches. For the first time since 2001, the Inaugural watch will be sold only online, according to ObamaWatches.com, the company making the political collectible.

"Since we only produce a limited number of Obama Inaugural watches, selling it online was the fairest way to offer it to the public," said Jack Goldenberg, President, Obama Watches. The 2009 Inaugural watch, offered at 16 venues throughout DC, sold our before noon on Inauguration Day. Since Obama Watches are made in the US, the company was able to ramp up production to satisfy customers.

The Limited Edition Inaugural Watch features President Obama in front of a modified Seal of the President of the United States. The watch sells for $70. It is similar in design to the 2009 Inaugural Watch which originally sold for $60 and currently sells for $150.
