Together--The Balancing Act and Chadwicks are Working on Your Wardrobe

How to dress for success on that first job interview…

You have totally emptied your closet, you have borrowed different clothes from friends, you have tried the same outfits on at least 50-times, you look to your dog for at least their approval—but you STILL can’t decide what to wear!  No one likes the stress of a first interview— and the constant questioning of deciding what to wear!  To ad-“dress” this fashion issue The Balancing Act and Chadwicks are excited to welcome back NYC Fashion Editor and Stylist, JoJo Cohen to the show!  Make sure you tune in September 28th on Lifetime Television at 7:30 a.m. (Eastern/Pacific).

With these economic hard times emptying your closet of your outfits from past eras, and buying a wardrobe for work-- should not mean emptying your pocket book!

JoJo and Chadwicks are going to bring out some stylish and work-friendly outfit options that will even make your purse smile.  Let’s say you get a job interview at a corporate office and need something stylish and trendy, but also serious and flattering.  JoJo spills some secrets and tips for all ages that you won’t want to miss out on.  She’ll cover everything from pencil skirts, to blouses and cardigans.

Oh, and let’s not forget accessories!  Or should we?  Another great tip from JoJo and Chadwicks that we’ll let you in on-- you should never over-accessorize when going in for a job interview.  Just check out the show and you’ll be able to see that just by adding some delicate jewelry and scarves to accent your work look, it will also give you a hint of individuality. You could also add a belt to make the look more sophisticated and pulled together.

A few tips to always keep in mind: keep your resume updated, send a thank you note to your interviewer immediately after the meeting, and research the company online before you go in for your interview.
