Osama Bin Laden Urges European Nations to Withdraw Troops from Afghanistan

Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has released a new audio message urging European nations to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan, saying “an intelligent man does not waste his money and sons for a gang of criminals in Washington.”

Bin Laden went on to attack President Barack Obama, criticizing the American president declaring, “It is shameful to be part of an alliance whose leader does not care about spilling the blood of human beings by bombing villages intentionally.”

The message, which was posted in a video that appeared on the Internet on Friday, included English and German subtitles. It is believed Bin Laden was targeting Germans who will be going to the polls on Sunday for federal elections.
