#1 Florida Gators will face their SEC East rival Kentucky Wildcats in a road game on Saturday at 6pm ET on ESPN2.
The Gators have had a lot of success against UK over the past couple of years as they look for their 23rd consecutive win against the Wildcats. Last season, UF defeated Kentucky, 63-5, in Gainesville.
UF won its league opener against archrival Tennessee Volunteers last week, 23-10, but many view it with little fanfare because the Gators were much heavier favorites. QB Tim Tebow had his 30 game touchdown pass streak snapped in the game as he passed for 115 yards while rushing for 76 and a TD.
On the defense, Kentucky boasts an All-SEC defensive back in Trevard Lindley, while the Gators boast several All-SEC players: defensive linemen Jermaine Cunningham and Carlos Dunlap, linebackers Brandon Spikes and Ryan Stamper, and defensive backs Joe Haden, Major Wright and Ahmad Black.
