Silver Companies Drop in Friday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies saw slight decreases in Friday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies dropped noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) fell 9 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $4.08.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) fell 24 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $21.56.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) fell 48 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $20.04.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) fell 25 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $11.87.
