It will be a boy for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson! RadarOnline.com reports the couple found out this week at a routine doctor’s appointment that their second child is a boy.
“She found out this week after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby,” an insider tells Radar. “Jessica immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy.”
The source says having a son is a “dream come true” for the singer/fashion designer because she has always wanted daughter Maxwell to have a brother. “She was so happy that Maxwell is getting a little brother because that’s something she always wanted when she was growing up,” says the source.
“Jessica and Eric are so excited and have started going through names, but they haven’t settled on one just yet,” the insider adds.
Simpson, 32, recently admitted that getting pregnant so soon after having Maxwell, now 8-months-old, was a shock. “Apparently it was a part of God’s plan for my life. I was extremely shocked. I was shocked because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica. And you know, it was kind of like a one-night stand. And it happened … all over again!” Simpson told Jay Leno during her appearance on the Tonight Show.
