It’s going to be twins for Cheyl Wright and her wife of more than a year, GLBT Civil Rights activist Lauren Blitzer. In an interview with Howard Bragman on his Youtube show Gwissues, the country singer revealed she is 3 months pregnant with identical twins.
“They’re due in July, but with identical twins you typically have to deliver a month early. We’re anticipating I’ll be as big as a … bus or an A-frame house by around June,” said Wright, 42.
“It’s amazing. We’re excited to be parents and we hope we don’t mess it up too badly!” she joked.
Wright, who came out as gay in May 2010, wed Blitzer in August 2011. "We feel like God blessed us with twins. We feel our entire relationship has been blessed. We feel lucky and ready to take on the challenges,” Wright told Bragman.
