Kronos Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: KRO) has announced a price raise in all titanium dioxide grades sold in Europe and Eastern Europe. Effective October 1, 2009, the prices will be raised by EUR 100 per metric ton. This price increase is in addition to their latest increases announced for July 1 and August 1, 2009. Other leading producers of titanium dioxide such as Huntsman and Cristal Global have also announced price raises recently.
