Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) said Monday it has been awarded a multiyear information technology services contract by Nissan North America, according to Associated Press.

The technology company will provide service desk and end-user support for desktop computers, personal digital assistants and wireless handheld devices.
CSC did not disclose the terms of the contract.
Its shares rose $2.40, or 4.8 percent, to $53.16 in midday trading.
