CommScope (NYSE: CTV) Names Mark Olson as Controller

CommScope Inc. (NYSE: CTV), a network infrastructure company, said Monday that it named Mark Olson as its controller and principal accounting officer, effective Nov. 15, according to Associated Press.

Olson will succeed William Gooden, who is retiring after 31 years with the company. Gooden will help with the transition and other duties through early next year.

 

Gooden joined CommScope in 1978 and has served as its principal accounting officer since 1997.

 

Olson, 51, has been vice president and group controller for Andrew LLC since December 2007, when CommScope acquired Andrew. Previously, he served as Andrew's corporate controller and chief accounting officer.

 

CommScope shares rose 85 cents, or 2.9 percent, to $30.64 at Monday’s close.
